CARLEY'S 1 YEAR CHECKUP

CARLEY HAD HER 1 YEAR WELL CHILD CHECKUP. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. SHE WEIGS IN AT 23 LBS. 2 OZ AND IS 30 INCHES LONG. SHE IS STILL FOLLOWING THE SAME CURVE SHE'S BEEEN ON SINCE SHE WAS BORN, SO SHE IS GROWING JUST PERFECT.

SOME THINGS CARLEY DOES/LIKES NOW:

~WALKING.... SHE STARTED TAKING STEPS AT ABOUT 10.5 MONTHS THEN AT ABOUT 11 MONTHS SHE STARTED WALKING ON HER OWN REALLY GOOD
~SHE CAN SAY THANK YOU(KIND OF--- WE TELL HER THANK YOU AND SHE IN RETURN WILL SAY TANK U)
~SHE IS STARTNG TO BECOME A LITTLE BIT OF A PICKY EATER...BUT APPARENTLY THIS IS NORMAL SO I SHOULDN'T FRET ABOUT IT
~SHE LOVES WHOLE MILK
~SHE CAN RIDE ON HER LITTLE POWER WHEELS 4 WHEELER ALL BY HERSELF
~SHE PLAYS REALLY WELL WITH TEGAN---- BUT TEGAN HAS A HARD TIME SHARING WITH HER(WE'RE STILL WORKING ON THIS)
~SHE GIVES GREAT KISSES AND HUGS

WE LOVE THIS GIRL SO MUCH SHE BRINGS SO MUCH HAPPINESS INTO OUR HOME!!!

9.25.09 CARLEY TURNS ONE!!! WOW IT'S BEEN A WHOLE YEAR SINCE WE'VE BEEN IN ATLANTA AND SINCE WE'VE HAD CARLEY.... WOW HOW FAST A YEAR CAN GO!!! CARLEY HAS GROWN UP WAY TOO FAST.... SHE IS GETTING TO BE SUCH A BIG GIRL NOW...WANTING TO DO STUFF BY HERSELF ALREADY--- I THINK SHE WATCHES HER SISTER A LOT!!! SHE IS SUCH A SWEET GIRL AND WE JUST LOVE HER TO PIECES. SHE BRINGS SO MUCH JOY INTO OUR LIVES...WHAT BLESSING SHE IS TO US!!!

9.26.09 CARLEY'S BIRTHDAY PARTY.... WE HAD A GREAT DAY TODAY!!! WE HAD FAMILY AND FRIENDS COME VISIT FOR CARLEY'S PARTY..... THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO MADE THE EFFORT TO COME UP FOR IT!!! WE REALLY APPRECIATE IT. WHAT A GREAT DAY TODAY WAS... A MILESTONE IN OUR SWEET CARLEY'S LIFE!!!

DANCING QUEEN

Tegan had ger first ballet/tap class today. She was so cute with her leotard, tights, and shoes on and her hair in a bun. She was excited about going to ballet. She did pretty good for her first time ever....Miss Neta(the teacher) said they girls did great in tap but not so good in ballet today.... they kept running back and forth during ballet---so they didn't get a sticker... Next week they can try again :) I hope she likes ballet and tap and maybe she'll develop a love for it and want to do it forever!!!

READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!!!

We've been pretty busy lately!!! First, we've been really enjoying our new house.... trying to get it fixed up a little bit at the time. Still trying to get it decorated but I know that's going to take a while to do :):)
The girls are growing up so fast. Tegan has gotten so tall this summer. She can finally pedal her tricycle all by herself....we've got the kind that has the parent handle attached to the back that allows the parent to steer if needed....so she hasn't wanted to pedal but she does now and she loves it!!! She still can't get enough of her baby sister and loves her soo much--- a little too much most of the time---she tries to be soft but doesn't realize she is hurting Carley sometimes with her great big hugs and kisses :):) Carley is now 11 months!!! Wow...this year has really flown by...she will be ONE on Sept 25!!! CRAZY :):) She is now taking about 6-8 steps and when she falls down she can get herself back up without holding onto anything. She always has something that gets in her way (i.e. --TEGAN). We can't wait for her to start walking all on her own.
We're EXTREMELY excited about this time of year b/c the weather is about to get cooler but not too cold.... and it's FOOTBALL SEASON!!!!! We love football season. We love going to and watching the games. It's my favorite time of the year :):) GO DAWGS!!!!
